I am challenging the boundaries that have been imposed on me in my pursuit of exploring the outdoors as a solo female traveler. Women have traveled alone for eras and in this day and age, it is still disapproved of in some cultures, and questions her capabilities. A series of photographs capture me camping as I venture further and further away from the safety of my own home and into the outdoors.
